19 abstracts of young scientists were selected for 5-minute presentations for two lightning talk sessions and subsequent poster sessions.
STOE sponsored three prizes that were awarded by a committee of three experienced scientists to:
• Nadine Pfändler (Freiburg/DE) – “In-Situ observations of foreign phase particles in fluids and their interaction with the solidification front
• Sebastian Selter (Dresden/DE) – “Structural and Magnetic Investigations in the 2D van-der-Waals Layered System Fe1-xNixPS3”
• Melanie Nentwich (Freiberg/DE) – “LiTaO3 defect structures by means of forbidden reflections”
