About

There is no science without communication. We invite you to attend a workshop on Electron Crystallography and present your research on all aspects of 3D ED / MicroED / 4D-STEM

The programme is deliberately informal and flexible. It will cover many facets of electron crystallography: structure analysis with 3D‑ED, dynamical and inelastic scattering, serial electron crystallography, 4D‑STEM, CBED, ePDF, in‑situ methods, image reconstruction, and all aspects of structural information obtainable from electron diffraction. With the growing number of ED facilities, we particularly welcome reports on facility setup and operation.

Anyone wishing to present current research can give a 20‑minute talk. The compact size and collegial atmosphere encourage lively discussion — preliminary results and honest accounts of problems encountered are especially valuable, as they often prompt creative solutions. A poster session will be available for those who prefer that format. Industry contributions are welcome and may be scheduled either in a dedicated session or integrated into scientific sessions, depending on content.

Registration is now open: fees are £300 (academic) £600 (commercial).
