The Carl Hermann Medal is the highest award in the field of crystallography presented by the German Society for Crystallography. It is named after the German physicist and professor of crystallography Carl Hermann (1898-1961). Carl Hermann was not only an outstanding scientist, he was also honored posthumously as a Righteous Among the Nations.
Next year, the German Society of Crystallography will once again award the Carl Hermann Medal for the scientific life’s work of outstanding researchers in the field of crystallography.
On behalf of the award committee, I would therefore like to cordially invite you to send me your nominations by November 30, 2024. All members of the DGK are eligible to nominate.
